FAQ's

How do I introduce the queen to my hive?

Leave the queen in her cage and place it between brood frames. The bees will gradually become accustomed to her pheromones. After 2–3 days, check if the cage has been opened by the bees. If not, gently release her. Avoid direct release immediately upon arrival.

What should I do when the queen arrives?

Place her in a cool, quiet spot away from direct sunlight. Install her into your hive as soon as possible—preferably within 24 hours. Keep the cage upright and don’t open it until you're ready to introduce her to the colony.

What if my hive rejects the new queen?

Rejection is rare but can happen. To reduce the risk, ensure the hive is queenless for at least 24 hours before introduction. You may also use a slow-release method by keeping the queen caged for 3–5 days before releasing her.

Do you offer a live arrival guarantee?

Yes, we guarantee live arrival if someone is available to receive the delivery. If there’s an issue, please contact us within 12 hours of receipt with photos of the queen and packaging.
